Since some people are extremely sensitive to the chemicals contained in the fruit, they develop the symptoms on account of consuming very little fruit. Other people develop the symptoms only if they eat a large portion of strawberries. In other words, you might not realize that you are allergic until you eat a large amount.

Once you are sure that you suffer from this allergy then you should avoid consuming this fruit either fresh or in any other form.
